Thanks updating to 3.4 worked.

My 2 cents - in the downloads for 4.0 you may want to add a readMe type file called - for instance - 'For Silverlight' that specifies what you mentioned in your response - "There is no longer a Silverlight-specific version of FluentValidation, but instead FluentValidation v4 uses a portable class library, which is available Silverlight 4 or 5".

Since there are no explicit Silverlight/SL4 0r SL5 folders in the 4.0 downloads knowing up front which .dll to reference would be a huge help.
